A New Take on Social Injustice

  • The Background

The Sierra Club is an environmental organization that operates chapters in all 50 states of the United States, as well as in Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico. It was established on May 28, 1892, in San Francisco, California by John Muir, a Scottish-American preservationist who served as the organization's first president and held the position for approximately 20 years, making him the longest-serving president in its history.

  • The Challenge

In the present time, the world is facing critical challenges such as a rising global temperature, unparalleled levels of pollution, and influential groups opposing fundamental protections. It is crucial to unite and find innovative solutions to address these issues. The Sierra Club aims to assemble a strong and efficient environmental movement by bringing people together, which can create a significant impact and achieve lasting change.
